Why do I love Sacred Art?

I have always loved the masters, such as, Michelangelo and DaVinci. Most of their work is Sacred Art. Think of the Sistine Chapel and The Last Supper. It was an exciting time when I got to see some their original work in Italy. This has inspired me to try to paint like the masters.

Writing Icons is a recent endeavor for me. It started as a project for a class I was taking and has blossomed from there. I also enjoy teaching iconography classes.
